| With a mix of stylish and
imaginative accommodation throughout Northern

travel is by air, which allows more time to be

Day 1:
Arusha - Serengeti
National Park
Afternoon scheduled flight (approximately one
hour) from Arusha to the Serengeti. Upon
arrival you will be met at the airstrip and
spend the remainder of the afternoon on a game
drive.
Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge on a half
board basis.
Day 2: Serengeti
National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives.
Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge on a full
board basis.
Day 3: Serengeti
National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
Depart after breakfast and drive back across
the Serengeti plains viewing game en route and
arrive at Olduvai Gorge. The Gorge is about
50km long and in some places 90m deep. After a
picnic lunch you continue to your lodge, set
high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4: Ngorongoro
Crater
After an early breakfast you descend into the
Crater in a 4x4 vehicle for a full day of game
viewing with a picnic lunch enjoyed on the
Crater floor. Late afternoon you leave the
Crater and drive back to the lodge for the
evening.

Day 5: Ngorongoro
Crater - Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you leave the Crater and
drive through the highlands to Lake Manyara.
Upon arrival, there will be a gentle walk
around the rim of the Great Rift Valley,
escorted by a Masai guide who is also a
qualified naturalist. He will explain the
Masai culture and customs, as well as the
various flora and fauna, including information
on Masai medicines taken from plants and
trees. After lunch there will be a game drive
into Lake Manyara National Park for the
remainder of the afternoon.

Day 6: Lake Manyara
National Park
Today, the day will be spent in the park with
a bush lunch enjoyed in a spectacular setting.
Viewing wildlife will be from the vehicle as
well as by canoe. Watching hippo, elephant and
buffalo on Lake Manyara’s shores from a canoe,
provides an adventure not featured in many
other safaris. These trips are in two-man
canoes and last about two to three hours. They
include a qualified guide, life jackets and a
water pack.

Day 7: Lake Manyara -
Arusha
Depart after breakfast to Manyara’s airstrip
and connect with the flight back to Arusha
(approximately 25 minutes) for your onward
arrangements
