1. Is my credit card number safe? Top
Due to the possibility of security breaches on websites, The Great Canadian Travel Company Ltd. only accepts credit card information by Fax. You can print off a credit card authorization form here or ask us to email or Fax you one. After you have completed the form and signed it, you will need to Fax it to 204-949-0188. This will authorize us to charge the amount of your flight passes and delivery charges to your credit card. This information is only used for your current order and will not be shared with any other company.
2. How do I receive my tickets? Top
Your ticket package will be shipped to the address you provide on the Credit Card Authorization form by your choice of delivery method, either Xpresspost (2-3 day delivery) for $10.00 or courier (next day by noon) for $25.00.
 
3. After I receive my tickets, what do I do if there is a problem with it?
Our customer service agents are available to assist you should you have a problem with your tickets. Call 1-800-661-3830 or email europebyair@gctc-mst.com. Our contact information will also be included with your reservation confirmation and in your ticket package.
4. What if I need to change my flight arrangements? Top
If you need to change your flight arrangements up to 24 hours before the flight, call Great Canadian Travel at 1-800-661-3830. If you are already in Europe, just call the airline to make the cancellation. A full list of airline and phone numbers will be included with each ticket package.
 
5. What if I need to cancel my reservations? Top
The Great Canadian Travel Company can cancel reservations on your behalf or your can cancel directly with the airline involved. Cancellations must be done prior to the departure day and time of the flight involved. Otherwise, you will be considered a "No Show" which is a person that does not check-in for a reserved flight.
 
6. What happens if I won’t be using my airline tickets and I’d like a refund? Top
EuropebyAir FlightPasses are non-refundable. We suggest trip cancellation and interruption insurance to protect your investment.
7. How will I know if I have a confirmed reservation and a seat assignment?
Your confirmation number(s) and seat numbers will be on the reservation record that will be included with your ticket package for any flights you have booked in advance. These confirmation numbers will be on file with both The Great Canadian Travel Company and the airline(s) involved. If you have a confirmation number, your reservation is confirmed. To view your itinerary online, go to www.virtuallythere.com. You will be prompted to enter your reservation number as shown on your confirmation from The Great Canadian Travel Company and your last name. Each itinerary will be accessible until your trip is complete. To be sure you have a seat assignment, arrive at the airport at least 1 hour prior to your flight’s departure and check in promptly. Early check-in is necessary due to heightened security. Advance seat selections are not guaranteed and are subject to change by the airline(s) involved.
 
8. I’ve seen a better flight price advertised elsewhere. Why don’t I get that price using europebyair.com? Top
There are several reasons this may occur. Airlines generally restrict the number of seats that can be sold at low, discounted fares. Most discounted fares have restrictions such as an advance purchase, a minimum and maximum stay requirement, days of week or time of day restrictions. Usually specials have to be purchased at the time of booking and are not changeable. They are, of course, not offered during peak travel periods like Christmas, Easter and spring break. With your Europebyair.com flight coupons you can travel freely around Europe without worrying about all most of these rules and restrictions. As long as there are seats available in the class of service required for the airline you wish to fly you can travel one-way or return on any of the flights in the extensive route network. You can make changes or cancel your flights without penalty while in Europe.
 
9. Can I use travel vouchers, certificates or frequent flyer miles to purchase through europebyair.com?
No. Airlines generally require that ticket purchases using either frequent flyer miles or travel vouchers be handled directly at one of their locations. The same is true of vouchers issued by a variety of travel clubs. You will need to contact them directly to purchase your ticket.
 
10. How do I make a reservation for someone else?
Top
To make a reservation for someone else, just provide us with their passport name at the time of reservation. You will have the option on the Credit Card Authorization form to have the ticket package shipped to your address or directly to theirs if you prefer.
 
11. Do I need to enter my frequent flyer number, meal and seating preferences and other requests each time I make a reservation? Top
No, we can store all these details for you in a client profile. This information will only be used by our company and will never be shared with anyone else. Conversely, if you prefer that your personal data not be stored, just tell us and we will not hold it in a profile.
 
12. How does the Great Canadian Travel Company protect my right to privacy? Top
The Great Canadian Travel Company Ltd. has long recognized and accepted our responsibility to safeguard the privacy, confidentiality and security of the information you entrust to us. Only those of our employees who have a need to know and whom we authorize have access to customer information. You are urged to read this Notice thoroughly as it relates to important matters dealing with your privacy rights.
