We are
delighted to announce that in 2007 we will operate
another event, and look forward to welcoming you all to
join us in Kirkwall May
14 in 2007. All
of the preparations are well under way, and we are now
able to take reservations.
Our program
starts and finishes in Glasgow, and
includes accommodation for two nights in the south,
return coach travel between Glasgow and Orkney, six
nights accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis in
Orkney, a full island tour and a day trip to an out
island. Additionally you will be eligible to participate
in the Gala Dinner, and access to the genealogical
research of the Family History Society.
Due to some space constraints in Orkney,
participation in the event will be limited to
approximately 350 home-comers, we would suggest that you
book as soon as possible!
We are not including airfares to/from Scotland
because participants will be coming from such a wide
variety of centres. We will, however, be delighted to
assist with making reservations and have attractive
airfares available from both the US and Canada. It is
also possible to use frequent flyer points, and most
airlines will allow you to book these tickets from 11
months prior to departure.
