| What
to do in a Travel Emergency? |
|
Each travel claim situation varies
with the type of policy bought and the insurance
coverage chosen.
- If you have a medical emergency while
travelling, RBC Insurance will help you. If
you don't speak the language of the country
you are visiting, don't worry. RBC's
multilingual professionals can co-ordinate on
your behalf with a local doctor or nurse to
arrange the care you need. RBC can also
contact your family or employer at home and
arrange any other assistance you need.
- If you have to cancel your trip for various
reasons, call us to cancel your trip and then
call RBC Insurance as soon as possible.
If you have your policy or certificate number
handy when you call - it will make it easier to
provide help. This number should be on the
confirmation page you received from us when
booking your vacation. If you don't have your
policy or certificate number, don't worry, RBC
will still be able to care for and assist you in
your time of need. |
