This suggested program will take you to some of our favourite parts of the
country. In this itinerary, each day's drive will be no longer than four hours. Day 1: Arrive in Glasgow and pick up your car to drive north to Loch Lomond where you will overnight. Day 2: Continue North through the west of Scotland to Ullapool where you will have a two night stay. Day 3: A full day to explore the delightful coastline and magical fishing villages. Day 4: Today's journey will take you through some of the most dramatic scenery in Britain as you head to the north coast, then east to Scrabster. Day 5: Turn south today through the gentle countryside of the northeast to Inverness where you will overnight. You will have time to visit Loch Ness or the battlefield of Culloden this afternoon. Day 6: Continue south today through the highlands to Perth, the ancient capital of Scotland. Day 7: The final day's drive will bring you back to either Glasgow or Edinburgh where you will overnight. Why not visit one of the delightful galleries or museums? Day 8: Make your way to the Glasgow or Edinburgh airport for your morning departure.
