Join this odyssey through the North Atlantic and relive the Viking Times. Experience the spectacular scenery and unique cultural heritage of the North Atlantic islands as you follow in the Vikings' footsteps from Iceland to the Faroe Islands and finally to Scotland's Shetland and Orkney Islands. Why not bring along one of the fascinating Icelandic Sagas to read en route, and let your imagination slide back to the 10th century.

Day 1: Arrive at Keflavik airport in Iceland and transfer to Reykjavik for a short tour of the city, check-in to your accommodation for three nights.

Day 2: A guided tour of the Golden Circle is planned for today, visit Geysir hot springs area, Gulfoss waterfall and Thingvellir National Park.

Day 3: Today is free to explore the city on your own, visit the shops and enjoy the restaurants and nightlife.

Day 4: This morning a domestic flight to the east of Iceland, transfer from Egilsstadir to Seydisfjordur harbour, board the Norrona ferry for the Faroe Islands, overnight onboard.

Day 5: Arrive in Torshavn early this morning, explore the smallest capital city in the world and transfer on your own to your accommodation for three nights.

Day 6: A full day tour to the Island of Eysturoy, see colourful villages, cross the Atlantic Ocean Bridge and see Faroes highest mountain and interesting rock formations. Lunch is included in today's tour.

Day 7: A full day excursion to one of the Faroes most unspoilt islands, Sandoy. You will experience the traditional Faroese lifestyle and see many interesting sights en route, including puffin colonies and bird cliffs. A packed lunch and the ferry crossing is included in today's tour. 

Day 8: Transfer by shuttle to Vagar Airport and travel by air to Shetland via London, transfer on your own to Lerwick for two nights.

Day 9: Today is free to explore on own or join an optional tour to Jarlshof, an ancient settlement dating back 5000 years.

Day 10: Visit the Shetland Museum and explore the town's shops on foot, board the Northlink ferry to Orkney this evening, arrive for two nights in Kirkwall.

Day 11: Explore on your own with an optional car hire or join a guided tour of the Western Mainland and see the archaeological sights from the Stone Age to the Iron Age.

Day 12: Visit the St. Magnus Cathedral and the remains of the Earl's and Bishop's Palaces, take a tour of the Highland Park Distillery and then visit the shops for some locally made jewelry. This evening board the Northlink ferry to Aberdeen, overnight onboard.

Day 13: An early morning arrival in Aberdeen where you transfer on your own to your accommodation for one night, join a city sightseeing tour or explore on foot.

Day 14: Departure or extend itinerary to explore Scotland.
