Depart on a four-hour guided city sightseeing excursion this morning. Highlights include the markets and galleries on vibrant Granville Island, panoramic views from The Lookout, and the cruise ship terminal at Canada Place. Board Prince of Whales Ocean Magic at Vancouver harbor this morning for a Whale Watching tour. Experience the beauty of the west coast, travelling on a path seldom followed through the spectacular Gulf Islands, watching incredible wildlife with commentary by an on-board naturalist. Arrive in Victoria at 1pm, and travel by coach to the 'must see' Butchart Gardens. Later this afternoon you will re-board your cruiser at the garden's private dock for a quick two-hour trip back to Vancouver. Today is free to explore Vancouver at your leisure. This evening, board VIA Rail for a spectacular expedition through the Rocky Mountains. The Canadian crosses some of the most beautiful landscape in Canada, and you will be treated to views of towering mountain ranges and vast, clear blue lakes.

You will be picked up at your hotel this morning for your Icefields Parkway & Columbia Icefield excursion. Built in 1940, the famous Icefields Parkway links Jasper and Banff National Parks along one of Canada's highest mountain roadways. Climbing from the low valleys to the treeline, experience three life zones; the montane, the subalpine and the alpine. Along the way you will stop at major viewpoints such as Athabasca Falls, the Columbia Icefield, Crowfoot Glacier, and Peyto Lake. At the Icefields Centre you'll have time to visit the gift shop, the Glacier Gallery or have a snack at the restaurant, and ride on a Brewster Ice Explorer. On your way to Banff, experience the breathtaking waters of Lake Louise and the dominate Victoria Glacier. Arrive in Banff and check into your hotel.
