The tour starts with a flight to Isafjordur, the principal town on the Westfjords peninsula. From there you will take a 2-3 hour kayaking adventure along the coastline, paddling past bird colonies and specatular scenery. Following this, you will have a couple of hours to yourself in Isafjordur where you can visit the Maritime Museum and enjoy lunch in one of the nice little restaurants. The Vigur tour offers attractions like huge colonies of puffin, eider ducks, black guillemots and arctic terns. This little island is home to one of the smallest post offices in Europe and Icelan's only windmill.
